What started as a small local initiative has now grown into a thriving creative space where people of all ages and backgrounds can explore their artistic potential.
Over the years, we have welcomed hundreds of students, shared the joy of art with families, and built an inspiring community.
This anniversary is not just a celebration of our achievements but a year-long tribute to creativity, connection, and artistic growth.
To make this anniversary truly special, we are launching a full year of celebrations!
Each month, we will offer free events in Kitchener, free online lessons, and monthly online programs for both kids and adults in English and Russian.
Whether you’ve been part of our journey for years or are just discovering our community, we invite you to celebrate with us!
New in 2025: Art Café – A Space to Create Freely
One of our most exciting anniversary projects is the launch of Art Café—a brand-new creative experience where art is “served” just like in a café!
Instead of food and drinks, you’ll have access to a variety of art materials at different stations, with no instructions, just the freedom to explore and create.
It’s a perfect opportunity to relax, experiment, and connect with others through art.
Our first-ever Art Café will take place on Saturday, February 8, from 1–3 PM in Kitchener—just in time for Valentine’s Day!
This free event is open to solo creators, couples, and families looking for a meaningful and creative experience. Registration is required, as spots are limited.
We are also hosting a special Art Café for ladies from the Russian-speaking community on March 1, just before International Women’s Day and my birthday. The theme will be women, spring, and new beginnings, providing a welcoming space for creativity, conversation, and inspiration.
Online Programs: Bringing Creativity to You
As part of our anniversary celebration, we are expanding our online art programs to make art accessible to more people, no matter where they are. Our online lessons are designed to fit into busy schedules, allowing participants to learn and create from the comfort of their own homes.
Special Free Online Lesson: Warm Hat Sketching
To kick off our anniversary year, we are offering a free online lesson—Warm Hat Sketching. Available until February 8 this lesson includes my personal feedback on your artwork, making it a great opportunity to practice and improve your skills.
Monthly Online Programs: 2-Month Access & Special Offers for Our Students!
We are launching a new series of monthly online programs, each with a unique theme:
January–February: Cozy Sketches – Learn how to draw and color warm, cozy objects. Available until February 28.
February–March: Warm Sketches – Explore soft, comforting textures in drawing. Starts on February 9 and is available until the end of March.
February–March: Winter Fun Sketching for Kids – A playful and engaging program for young artists. Already started, and kids can join us until the end of March.
March: A Special Month of Free Art for Everyone!
March is an especially meaningful month as I will be celebrating my 50th birthday on March 9. To mark this occasion, we will be offering a free online program for adults in both English and Russian. This program will focus on exotic flowers, with step-by-step drawing lessons and a supportive space to share your artwork.
